Visiting Angels of Santa Barbara is currently seeking compassionate and eager individuals to join our team of Angel Caregivers for clients in Carpinteria, Santa Barbara, Ojai, Solvang, Santa Maria, Lompoc and surrounding areas!

Our goal is to allow our clients to remain as independent as possible in their homes while providing them with the daily assistance they need. We have a team of Office Angels who are dedicated to providing excellent client care and supporting our caregivers to be successful! Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Fall prevention and safe transfer assistance
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Bathing and dressing assistance
• Providing clients with medication reminders
• Providing transportation to clients to doctor appointments or errands
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Position requirements:

• At least one year of experience as a caregiver (non-paid experience may apply), OR currently enrolled in CNA program (or something similar)
• Must complete and pass TB test (can be completed during hiring process)
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Pass a thorough background check and drug screen
• Valid Home Care Aide registration, including current LiveScan Fingerprinting (we can assist in this process after you apply)
• Angels must be caring, patient, compassionate, and reliable individuals who have a genuine interest in working with senior citizens and adults in need of assistance.
