We're a boutique business law firm in Post Falls, Idaho. We're looking to add an experienced paralegal to our team. We handle both transactional and litigation matters regularly for our loyal and long-standing clientele.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and draft legal documents that include, but aren't limited to: LLC operating agreements; corporate articles, bylaws, and resolutions; business purchase and sale agreements; LTIP plans; and more.
  • Interview clients to gather and organize information about their case.
  • Answer client questions about case progress and status.
  • Complete and file forms with state agencies to assist in forming companies, establishing registered agents, maintaining company legal status, and more.
  • Conduct research to support legal proceedings.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
  • Perform conflicts checks.
  • Prepare, proofread, format, and revise correspondence and documents.
  • Meet reasonable monthly billing requirements.
  • Prepare shell/template documents that comply with all court rules.
  • Docket deadlines to comply with court rules.
  • Attend virtual weekly and monthly team meetings.
  • Manage changing priorities and deadlines with grace.
  • Record, organize, and store client information.

​​Qualifications:

  • Paralegal certification required.
  • 5+ years' experience as a paralegal in business law, litigation, or both.
  • Comfortable using styles in Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to stay focused, productive, and on task when working from home or elsewhere remotely.
  • Extremely high attention to detail and ability to ensure forms are completed 100% accurately, the first time, every time.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and the community.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and anticipate upcoming projects and deadlines.
  • Reliable transportation for regular travel to and from various off-site locations (client locations, meeting locations, courthouse, etc.)
