Purpose and Scope:

Mahaffey USA has an immediate need for a General Warehouse Associate (HVAC). This position will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all equipment at our customer facilities according to safety requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform building, HVAC, electrical and other repairs as necessary
• Maintain inventory of repaired equipment and supplies
• Complete inspections report of sites with Maintenance Manager
• Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol to resolve site issues
• Repair malfunctioning 25-ton HVAC package unit
• Repair fabric structures when needed
• Perform other maintenance of structures as needed
• All other duties as assigned

Experience and Requirements:

• HVAC License, preferred
• Computer knowledge, preferred
• Must maintain professional personal appearance
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Must have full range of motion and dexterity with the ability to lift 70lbs
• Must be able to provide, understand, and complete instructions furnished in written, oral, or scheduled form.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Must stand for an extended period. Most work will be indoors with general warehouse conditions, in which some work areas may not be heated or air-conditioned. This job requires constant interaction with co-workers and with the public. This position requires frequent lifting and a significant degree of walking, bending and transporting objects of various weights and dimensions. May have exposure to chemicals, including but not limited to gasoline, diesel fuel, propane, kerosene and cleaning solvents. Propane is an obvious hazard, therefore a sense of smell is required.
