Heavy Duty Diesel Shop Foreman Job at Martin Transportation Systems Inc
We have an opening for a *Working Shop Foreman *in Indianapolis, IN. This position would be overseeing a 3 shift operation with standard day hours from 8:00a.m. – 5:00p.m. *REQUIRMENTS*: * Fluent use of Class 8 software for tractors and trailers * Knowledge and experience with the following engine systems: Detroit/Cummins * Cost of maintaining tractors and trailers * Maintain and preserve proper inventory management * 5 years experience in a shop setting *Position Qualifications:* * Professionalism-in both employee management and customer service * Transportation or automotive management experience a plus. * Knowledge of compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations a plus. * Demonstrated track record of achievement and success * Competitive and driven to succeed * Self motivated * High initiative and high energy and high expectations * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Independent thinking and problem-solving skills *BENEFITS*: * Medical, Dental & Vision offered * 401k w/25% company match (eligible at 6 months) * Vacation and Holiday Pay * Yearly Boot and Tool Allowance * $25,000 in free life insurance offered
