Tritium is a fast-growing global company with offices in Brisbane, Los Angeles, Amsterdam and soon to be Lebanon, Tennessee. Tritium leads the way in design, manufacture and distribution of fast-charging infrastructure for electric vehicles.
Reporting to the Plant Director, you will join at the beginning of this exciting new operation and set the framework for our HSE systems locally.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
- Plan, support and review Safety and Environment activities.
- Provide employee safety training.
- Develop, prioritize and implement training projects or programs to protect people, processes, products and environment from exposures to injury, risk or economic loss.
- Safety and Environment reporting and administration.
- Conduct with new hire safety orientation to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Creating a positive HSE Safety culture.
- Development and delivery of employee HSE training across site.
- Maintain Integrated Management Systems in alignment with legislative requirements.
- Internal audits to AS/NZS ISO standards.
- Detailed root cause analysis of incidents.
Qualifications
- Experience in EHS&S in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in taking a company through ISO accreditation – 9001, 14001, 18001 or other variants.
- Capable of singlehandedly getting on with developing the processes & systems within a H&S environment.
- Experience in electrical safety and is equally adept at managing the environmental side of the business, that would be great too.
- Experience in a hi-tech/electro-mechanical manufacturing operation.
- Positive and flexible attitude to unplanned requests and urgent needs
- Process and people focused.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem solver.
