The Rogosin Institute (RI) is an independent not-for-profit medical care and research organization affiliated with New York Presbyterian Hospital and Weill Cornell Medicine. Rogosin is one of the premier centers for the diagnosis and management of kidney disease in the country. The Institute also treats patients with diabetes, hypertension, lipid disorders and cancer and conducts research in these areas.

The Immunogenetics & Transplantation Center (IGT) at the Rogosin Institute offers exceptional opportunities for professional growth, excellent remuneration, a highly collegial work situation and is located in the best part of Manhattan, in New York City.

IGT provides histocompatibility service for seven (7) solid organ Centers covering 21 programs performing living and deceased donor transplants. This exciting opportunity involves developing expertise in molecular techniques such as PCR methods including SSP, SSOP and real-time PCR as well as next-generation sequencing. In addition, you will work with immunologists to develop expertise evaluating recipient-donor compatibility using state of the art analytical approaches and facilitating more than 1000 transplants per year. We are seeking enthusiastic qualified and dedicated technologists for full-time evening positions with on-call coverage on a rotation basis. Candidates must possess a baccalaureate or higher degree in the major of Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Sciences, the Physical Sciences or Mathematics.
