Nexeo HR is currently seeking a Quality Inspector in the Cache Valley Area. Candidate would be responsible for the inspection of fabricated, machined, and welded products to ensure standards/specifications are met. Must be familiar with precision inspection equipment, measuring tools, and have experience reading blueprints. Keen attention to detail and being self-driven is a must. Previous experience in a fabrication shop environment is required. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a quality control role.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
• Conduct and report internal audits and evaluations
• Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems and defects
• Participate in routine visual inspections
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications

• Previous work experience in quality control or another related field
• Experience in a machine and fabrication environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Must be a problem solver and be adaptable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic math skills and ability to interpret print specifications a must
• Candidate must be able to handle a heavy workload and overtime as required

Pay

$20-$27 per hour

Schedule

Day Shift | 6 AM – 4 PM | Monday – Friday (some overtime)
