The Opportunity

Ally announced the acquisition of Fair Square Financial, a digital-first credit card provider, in October of 2021. Ally Credit Card is a team that has combined the experience of seasoned talent from across the card industry with advanced analytical and machine learning techniques to develop and optimize our business. Our integrated and entrepreneurial team built the business up from scratch in 2016 to 1MM plus customers, with significant growth opportunities in the future. The Digital Experience Manager will oversee changes and improvements to the digital servicing experience, including web and mobile app, from requirements through implementation. This role will use data, including web and mobile app data, credit card trends, and customer profiles, to help better understand behaviors, identify trends and opportunities, and monitor channel performance. The Digital Experience Manager should have strong data-driven skills, project management experience, and a passion for user experience!

The Work Itself

  • Execute and deliver best in class customer experiences across digital properties (web and mobile app), with a focus on user experience and creative optimization
  • Develop and support strategies that drive digital enrollment and engagement initiatives
  • Analyze digital experience trends/behavioral analytics, industry best practices, and customer feedback to identify opportunities to optimize customer experience
  • Develop business requirements, including experience prototypes, for enhancements to web and mobile app experiences and manage requirements through to implementation
  • Assist with testing and execution of digital releases
  • Partner and collaborate with internal business owners to improve digital customer experience and understand operational reporting needs, including the identification of business problems, service levels and KPIs.
  • Partner with various teams to drive process excellence, while managing performance, timeliness, and cost.

The Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or work experience equivalent required.
  • 3-5 years' experience in web / mobile app analytics and optimization
  • 3-5 years' experience on teams building technology products as project manager or agile team member (scrum master, business analyst, product owner)
  • Hands on experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics preferred
  • Experience with user experience design tools including Adobe Creative Suite or Sketch preferred
  • Proficient in SQL. Familiarity with SAS, Python and/or R a strong plus
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau a plus
  • High degree of initiative with strong drive for results.
  • Ability to work across multiple lines of business and effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Credit card experience not required but preferred
  • Ability to deal with internal/external processes including those out-sourced with partners and/or vendors.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
