Position Summary
Leads financial analysis and recommend schedule actions to maximize financial and operational performance. Manages the future schedules process necessary to publish extension and optimization schedules and transition to Current Schedules for schedule finalization. Ensures extension and optimization schedules satisfy schedule and maintenance parameters and are consistent with planned slot holdings.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads financial analysis and recommend schedule actions to maximize financial and operational performance
- Manages the future schedules process necessary to publish extension and optimization schedules and transition to Current Schedules for schedule finalization
- Ensures extension and optimization schedules satisfy schedule and maintenance parameters and are consistent with planned slot holdings
- Closely coordinates future schedule changes with Current Schedules
- Establishes the schedule planning calendar, in conjunction with Current Schedules, with coordination and finalization deadlines to meet publication and distribution requirements
- Develops and communicates 18-month schedules and statistics across the enterprise
- Coordinates the budget/forecast calendar with Finance & Revenue Analytics to ensure budget schedules are produced on-time
- Oversees maintenance of automated scheduling system parameters, functionality and support tables relevant to future schedules activities
- Maintains the weekly aircraft counts spreadsheet, working with Maintenance Planning and the Sources & Uses, working with the Managing Director
- Maintains schedule analytics & reporting in Tableau/SharePoint, working closely with Revenue Management and Revenue Analytics
- Drives continuous improvement of future schedules business process
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in quantitative discipline or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and related working experience
- Five years of professional experience, with at least three years of relevant industry/functional experience
- 1 year of managerial or supervisory experience
- Expertise working with automated systems
- Proficiency working with large data sets and performing complex analyses utilizing database queries and advanced Excel functionality
- Ability to work effectively across the organization on cross-functional project teams
- Ability to effectively document and improve processes
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
