With this new schedule, most employees will work no more than 32 hours a week, and no employee will work more than 36 hours per week. Combined with our above market wages and robust benefits, this will ensure that everyone on staff is able to maintain a healthy work and life balance.

Addictions Recovery Center, Inc (ARC) in Medford, Oregon is a behavioral health agency providing a trauma-informed, comprehensive continuum of substance use and co-occurring mental health disorder treatment services in Southern Oregon. We are seeking a full time Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to provide direct, evidence-based mental health and substance use disorder treatment services to those needing care.

ARC QMHPs help individuals heal by providing collaborative mental health treatment with a sensitive and compassionate approach. They deliver evidence-based clinical services compatible with the philosophy and theory of recognized therapy models, as well as Addictions Recovery Center’s values and guiding principles. ARC QMHPs work in a fast-paced environment, modeling a professional, responsive and helpful work ethic, while demonstrating acceptance and encouragement for staff and clients alike.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Developing and maintaining a caseload as assigned by the agency;
  • Maintaining assigned assessments and group facilitation as scheduled;
  • Maintaining all client information and records in accordance with guidelines and regulations, including but not limited to electronic and paper files;
  • Providing crisis intervention for agency clients, as required;
  • Attending a minimum of one (1) hour of individual clinical supervision and one (1) hour of group clinical supervision with assigned clinical supervisor at least monthly;
  • Working closely with other staff as part of a multi-disciplinary care team;
  • Providing clinical supervision to staff, as assigned, within scope of qualifications;
  • Participating in clinical staffing as scheduled; and
  • Presenting case files during client staffings, as needed, including completed treatment plan review when appropriate and documenting the outcomes of staffing in client record.

Credentials and Skills required include:

  • Masters’ degree in behavioral health or related field and Oregon MHACBO QMHP certification;
  • CADC I, II, III or ability to obtain CADC within one (1) year of hire; ARC will assist the successful candidate with obtaining Oregon CADC;
  • Experience working in mental health and addictions treatment or other human services counseling field;
  • Oregon licensed Behavioral Health provider, preferred;
  • Moderate computer and data entry proficiency; experience with DrCloud preferred;
  • Ability to provide crisis intervention;
  • Provide all services in accordance with HIPPA and 42 CFR PART II regulations;
  • Ability to facilitate group, individual, and/or family services;
  • Ability to maintain required and accurate documentation and client records;
  • Passion for supporting healthy choices that benefit clients, their families, and the community;
  • Maintain education and required licensure/certification related to recognized practices, evidence based best practice and theories of addictions and recovery treatment/care; and
  • Strong communications and listening skills a must.

Competitive compensation and benefits, include:

  • ARC employees work no more than four-days a week to ensure they can maintain a healthy work and life balance;
  • Starting salary for QMHP ranging from $57,181.78 to $65,759.05 annually, depending on credentials, skills and experience; or
  • Starting salary for LPC/LCSW/LMFT ranging from $70,000.00 to $80,500.00 annually, depending on credentials, skills and experience;
  • $1,500.00 sign-on bonus for the successful candidate with QMHA or QMHP (paid in two installments, 50% at three months active employment, remaining 50% at six months active employment);
  • Three (3) to six (6) weeks of Vacation accrued per year, based upon years of service;
  • Paid Sick Time accrues up to 96.00 hours annually; and
  • Ten (10) Paid Holidays each year: New Year’s, MLK Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day,
  • Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.
