The New Business Agent manages a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, introducing and educating potential customers about our products and services in order to close sales and meet company performance metrics. The New Business Agent is responsible for understanding prospective customer needs and negotiating with customers to overcome their objections in order to achieve individual goals and performance objectives.


What You'll Do:

  • Generate new business by engaging with potential customers via phone, voicemail, email, and text to promote and sell financial services offered.
  • Achieve and exceed established daily and monthly sales goals.
  • Verify customer application information and gather additional information where necessary.
  • Utilize active listening skills to build rapport, understand customer needs and their motivation to buy in order to close sales.
  • Educate customers on payment plans, addressing all questions and concerns.
  • Utilize strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills to overcome customer objections.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor at all times and provide every customer with an exceptional experience throughout the entire sales process, adhering to all company processes, procedures and guidelines.
  • Leverage multi-tasking skills to maintain a high level of productivity throughout the day.
  • Ensure strong attention to detail when entering customer data at high level of accuracy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • Prior work experience within retail sales, inside sales, banking or financial services, call center, customer service, and food service, serving, or hospitality industries required.
