Night Audit is a critical role in the success of the nightly operations. This is a third shift position working 5 nights a week from 11pm to 7am. The Night Auditor is responsible for auditing, posting, and balancing of the daily financial transactions performed throughout the day. The Night Auditor is also responsible for greeting, registering, and checking guests out of the hotel in our continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet all guests in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Manage phone calls from guestrooms/outside lines/internal calls.
- Completes the guest registration and check-out procedures.
- Makes hotel reservations for guests, including changes and cancellations.
- Audit, post, and balance daily cashiers work for Hotel.
- Accurately post all room fees, related taxes, and other paid services including restaurant, lounge, internet, resort fees, and the like to each guest’s account daily.
- Verify all account entries are balanced; notate and settle any discrepancies uncovered in audit to appropriately settle guest accounts.
- Ensuring the quality and level of service that the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and guests expect is excellent and follows our company standards and policies.
- Ensure daily turn of Hotel and paperwork associated with all transactions is compiled and organized as set forth by management.
- Responds to all guest needs and requests in a timely fashion.
- Understands hotel emergency procedures and evacuation protocols.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability

- Traverse City, MI: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Hotel experience: 1 year (Preferred)
