We are currently seeking a dynamic, quality driven Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Legacy Medical team. You will care for patients, maintain accurate and current patient records, and schedule and administer follow-up appointments to patients as required.

This position will serve the Brainerd/Baxter area.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, or diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
• Builds a rapport with the patient and explains condition and course of action effectively through written and oral communication.
• Develops treatment plans based on scientific rationale, standards of care, and professional practice guidelines.
• Promote preventive care and health maintenance including annual physicals, positive health behaviors and self-care through both formal and individual education and counseling.
• Maintain complete and detailed records of patients' health care plans and prognoses.
• Performs quality control and maintains a high standard in relation to infection control mechanisms for patient safety.
• Works collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary health care team to provide the best outcomes for patients.

Minimum Requirements
A successful candidate possesses the following:

• Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• Valid nurse practitioner license.
• Demonstrated current competence and provision of care, treatment, or services for varied volume of patients.
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience
