Pediatric Counselor (LCSW or LPC) Job at Sunny Days
We are currently hiring experienced part time Pediatric Counselors must be a LCSW or LPC therapist to provide services to our families and children at our Pediatric Outpatient Centers located in either Edison or Manalapan. We have both in person and virtual cases available at both centers.
The Sunny Days Sunshine Center offers children and their families a place for developmental services and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) therapy. A new, one-of-a-kind center designed to promote positive behavior, increase quality of life, and enable individuality; the Sunshine Center embraces each child and their individual needs. The Sunshine Center is dedicated to children of all ages who may be experiencing challenges with learning, social skills, sensory processing, speech/language difficulties and/or motor development.
Job Summary
We are currently seeking a pediatric social worker/licensed counselor that can provide a wide variety of services to assist the child and their families, including but not limited to individual and group counseling, guidance to community resources and support systems, crisis interventions, and facilitating effective communication between patients and their families.
Position Requirements
- Must be a LCSW or LPC
- Experience working with children with developmental delays and disabilities
- Candidates must be energetic, animated, and outgoing, with a passion for helping children achieve their true potential.
