Our amazing and fun practice is looking for two full-time energetic, experienced and patient centered Dental Assistant (DAII) to join our Pediatric team. Candidate must have verifiable professional references, quality chairside skills (preferably with children), experience in performing all DAII expanded functions, great teamwork attitude, solid work ethic, a sincere care for our youthful patients, and a sense of humor. He/she must also have experience with practice management software and paperless processes. Current CLINIC HOURS: Mon-Thurs 8:00a-5:00p and one Friday/mo. 9a-1p

*SUMMER Clinic Hours: Mon-Thurs 8:00a-3:00p and one Friday/mo. 9a-1p

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatments or recares ensuring their comfort
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed for operative procedures, and provide post-operative care instructions
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Perform coronal polishing and provide oral hygiene
• Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
• Schedule next appointments
• Maintain accurate patient records

Skills

• Proven experience as dental assistant with a passion for working with children
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Attention to detail
• Well-organized and reliable
• MUST have Coronal Polishing and N2O certifications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
