Children FIRST Therapy in Spokane Valley is in search of a full time Physical Therapist to join our Early Support Services Therapy program for children birth to age 3 Experience in early childhood therapy is a plus. We incorporate play in the therapy process in our unique classrooms located in Spokane Gymnastics, www.spokanegymnastics.com and our office; we also meet with families in the home and provide services in childcare settings or in the community. Physical Therapist

Job Description:

- This position will primarily focus on birth to three Physical Therapy

- Conduct initial evaluations for Physical Therapy Services

- Complete all 6 month/annual review updates and write reports

- Provide Physical Therapy in preschool, therapy groups, in home, & in childcares

- Build positive relationships with all families and children

- Help set up and clean up for all groups

- Assist in circle time activities

- Lesson plan for preschool

- Document all services provided and note a monthly parent contact

- During home visits, leave a home visit sheet with positive feedback and routine based activities

- Encourage parent participation in home visits and in parent participation therapy groups

- Attend monthly MDT meetings

- Build partnerships with Spokane Gymnastics

- Communicate and build positive relationships with our staff

- Attend relevant development trainings

Must hold current Washington State License with the Department of Health to practice Physical Therapy.
