Specialty1 Partners is seeking a Business Intelligence Data Analyst to build and maintain business intelligence reporting solutions. Daily responsibilities will cover the full spectrum, from initial research and requirements gathering to reporting/dashboard design and development. Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic design and maintenance of business intelligence infrastructure.
• Analyze, evaluate, and recommend ways to improve storage & reporting; write ETL processes and reports, etc
• Work with cross-functional teams including business/functional subject matter and systems experts to transform data into insight.
• Coordinate across business units to clearly define key performance metrics and ensure that reporting technologies consistently measure and report on these KPIs.
• Create methods for sharing information across departments and increasing business user ability to leverage data independently.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing available data and processes for business intelligence.
• Audit, uncover, and work with business managers to resolve data integrity issues.

Requirements:

• 5 years of demonstrated experience in business intelligence analyst or data analyst positions, with particular emphasis on:
  • Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2019
  • Microsoft PowerBI Software
  • Microsoft Azure platform, specifically utilizing DataBricks, DataFactory
• Experience with PySpark and Python.
• BA/BS in an applicable discipline, such as software development, information systems, engineering, or mathematics
• 5 years of relevant experience working with large datasets
• Deep understanding of SQL for ad-hoc reporting and data mining
• Knowledgeable in data modeling and Data Warehouse development best practices
• Ability to develop and modify data ETL processes utilizing API calls
• Experience with transforming user requests into technical and functional specifications
• Experience with data governance processes
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• The ability to operate independently with little supervision and accomplish tasks and assignments.
