Precertification Specialist- Murray Oncology- Full Time Job at Murray Calloway County Hospital
MCCH seeks a full-time Precertification Specialist for our Oncology practice located within MCCH. This position is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday and full benefits are offered with this position.

The Precertification Specialist is responsible for obtaining prior authorization for all procedural orders by successfully completing the authorization process with all payers.
Minimum Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Work Experience:
- 2 years medical prior authorization experience preferred
- 2 years experience in a medical related field required
- Hospital or clinic experience, or training in medical terminology preferred.
- Proficient use of CPT and ICD-10 codes
- Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, and Internet Use
- Basic understanding of human anatomy, specifically musculoskeletal
