Nazdar's manufacturing division is in search of Batch Makers to assist in the ink production area.

• 4 - 10 work schedule!
• Shift options include Thursday - Sunday or Saturday - Tuesday. Schedules range from 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Starting Pay: $20.25/hr (with previous batch making, mixing, blending experience) and $18.25_ with no previous batch experience_
• Weekend hours worked are eligible for 25% premium pay differential.

Responsibilities include:

• Weighing or measuring materials, ingredients, and products to ensure conformance to requirements
• Recording weight of materials used on production records. Introducing appropriate raw materials into batch in the proper sequence.
• Observing the production of the ink and monitoring equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Adding or mixing chemicals and ingredients for processing.
• Communicate with batch makers from other shifts.
• Work with the QA department to insure quality standards are met.
• Cleaning equipment and surrounding floor area at the end of each work shift

Must be able to:

• stand and walk around production floor for long periods of time
• reach with hands and arms overhead above shoulders
• bend to retrieve containers and packages
• constantly lift materials to make batches
• climb ladders to retrieve materials
• talk or hear
• frequently lift and/or move up to 65 pounds
• may be required to push/pull on wheels, up to 4000 pounds
• specific vision abilities required are ability to distinguish color

Experience
Preferred

• Previous experience with batch weighing, mixing or blending
• 1 year(s): Experience in production or manufacturing environment.

• High School or better
