Job Summary:
The Project Manager – PMO will be a key member of the developing Project Management Office (PMO) at Inogen. The Project Manager will help establish and operationalize the PMO. In this role, the Project Manager will also lead, direct, oversee, and coordinate various projects that Inogen implements to ensure they all align effectively with the organization’s priorities and strategic goals. The Project Manager will also monitor and report on the progress of numerous projects within their purview to make sure they follow this direction and exceed the stated goals. The Project Manager is responsible for building a timeline and budget for programs and projects and must ensure all projects stay on track. They must also ensure that each project team is adequately staffed with members from each required functional area. The Project Manager may be required to report up to the executive leadership team on a regular basis the progress in completing the assigned projects.
Responsibilities (Specific tasks, duties, essential functions of the job)
- Design, build, and standardized templates and processes for the Project Management Office.
- Take projects from original concept through final implementation.
- Aid in the management of Inogen’s project roadmap.
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of projects in the PMO and serves as project manager between business teams. Defines project scope and objectives.
- Assess project issues and develop resolutions to direct the analysis of, and solution to problems; meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.
- Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, budgets, and status reports.
- Responsible for overall project deliverables.
- Prepare for, conduct, and document outcomes and actions from project meetings.
- Manage and track project financials, including internal staff and external vendors
- Ensure deliverables meet project requirements; review deliverables with business stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
- Manage 3rd-party relationships as needed.
- Manage and execute projects end-to-end, whilst driving integration and optimization of all corresponding components, documentation, processes, and deliverables.
- Define, schedule, and accurately estimate the task duration to develop and maintain a realistic schedule on projects.
- Ensure consistency and quality of projects and use a data-driven approach leading to the implementation of potential solutions.
- Manage issues and risk, identify problems and risks, work towards resolving them quickly.
- Manipulate and interpret large datasets to deliver actionable insights to business teams.
- Develop and implement detailed and accurate reports for the business and management team, providing visibility into performance against key business objectives and to support business decisions.
- Guide stakeholders in defining and delivering clear requirements to identify, prioritize and scope projects to deliver against business objectives.
- Interpret business challenges, create process mapping, analyze potential improvements, and translate these into best practices and solutions.
- Evaluate and assess project strengths, weaknesses, and risks.
- Monitor projects and oversee project managers to ensure goals are met.
- Ensure identification, execution, and maintenance of change management procedures.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Assist with any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Experience and Education)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent, required. Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in project management roles, required; within med-tech or biopharma, preferred
- 5+ years of experience managing large complex projects and implementations of cross-functional initiatives, required. Leading process optimization, business transformation, or strategic initiatives, preferred.
- 5+ years of experience identifying, designing, and structuring process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma and Value Stream Mapping approaches, preferred.
- PMP certification, preferred.
- Advanced knowledge/proficiency in Microsoft Office including MS Project, or other project management tools.
- A combination of training, education and experience that is equivalent to the qualifications listed above and that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Pay: $149,774.89 - $159,039.31 per year
