Our Punch (Trumpf) Operator’s workweek is Monday to Thursday with hours starting at 5:00 am until 3:30 pm. This job is a Skilled Industrial type position that that pays $22.00 to $27.00/Hour DOE and is a Temp-to-hire opportunity.
Punch (Trumpf) Operator Duties and Responsibilities –
- The machine operator will be fully responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of the TruPunch 5000.
- Proper operation means that the operator must be knowledgeable of all functions that are performed on the machine.
- Operating the machine and its components in manual or automatic mode
- Setting the work piece clamps
- Zeroing the machine
- Aligning and preloading the tooling
- Checking the first production parts against the drawings to ensure accuracy
- Understanding the operating sequence of the machine to determine if the machine is operating properly
- Understanding the location and operation of the emergency stop and feed hold switches.
- Routine maintenance of the machine
Punch (Trumpf) Operator Requirements and Qualifications –
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

- Will need to take a Physical & Audiogram test before being hired.
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Blueprint reading/electrical schematic reading.
- Familiar with inspection processes and systems controls.
- Setup experience specific to department or equipment
- Programing experience preferred
- Appropriate communication skills (Read, Write, Speak, Listen)
- Process and detail orientation.
- Ability to discuss, deploy and document best practices to ensure quality and productivity expectations are achieved or exceeded.
