Quality Inspector
What to expect:
This position holds a key role within the organization. It is paramount that the applicant is on time and reliable. Often times, overtime is worked to keep product moving and to better prepare for Monday delivery schedules. Hours will be 6 am to 2 pm. When there is free time it is expected that the applicant help production on the shop floor. Key qualities we look for in an applicant are to be trustworthy, honest, reliable, self motivated, and a go getter.
TASKS
Conduct duties as assigned by the Plant QAR.
Maintain and comply with ISO/QS quality system.
Inspect product to print, procedure, and/or QAR assigned requirements.
Ensure that documentation is maintained to appropriate specifications.
Complete, post, and maintain inspection data as required.
Assist in Corrective / Preventive Actions for discrepant material and customer complaints
Conduct internal audits.
Host assigned customer audits.
Assist QAR with customers regarding quality issues.
Train other personnel in quality areas.
Perform micro hardness testing as needed.
Furnish certifications.
Assist QAR / Plant Manager in other assigned tasks as needed.
Attend quality meetings
