Job Description:

Due to the rapid growth, we are hiring Quality Control Engineer that will work closely with the Senior Programmer Analyst and the development team and participate in all aspects of product testing, including developing test cases, execution and delivery of well-tested solutions with short time to release. This role will be located in Alpharetta, GA. This software has been operating within the marketplace since 2006.

Job Responsibilities:

• Working on projects and performing hands on testing independently.
• Enforces QA standards for all phases of testing and contributes to QA process improvement
• Participates in production support by troubleshooting and identifying problems
• Effectively collaborate with team members and others in organization to resolve testing issues
• Recommends Quality Assurance best practices and helps define and champion Quality Assurance standards
• Identifies software capability and reliability by conducting functional, system and performance tests
• Independently analyzes issues, recommends software changes and writes detailed bug reports
• Produces defect reports, status reports, test reports and other reports as independently provide defect analysis identifying QA root cause and corrective action for missed test coverage
• Demonstrates a dependable work ethic
• Performs all duties in accordance with established company goals.
• Documents, troubleshoots and isolates problems encountered during testing
• Creates and maintains ownership of test cases and test results

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years Software Testing experience
• Must have a highly technical aptitude & a love of good technology
• Aptitude and desire for continuous learning
• Is a self-starting individual with high energy who can still work well within a team environment
• Strong organizational skills & time management skills – You must have the ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment
• Stellar time management skills
• Basic knowledge of software development life cycle preferred
• Understanding of web applications and database
