The Quality Tech I position is part of the Quality Control Department and will be located in Lodi. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Support production with the knowledge of injection molded consumables within the Lodi facility-controlled environments.
• Be a resource for issues pertaining to the quality of the product from incoming inspection to the final inspection release of the consumable product and be responsible for investigation and disposition of Non-Conforming product.
• Conduct testing, inspection, and review of procedures during the manufacturing process to ensure that products comply with quality standards, as required.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• High School diploma (or equivalent experience) with 1+ years' related experience, OR
• AA or Technical Trade Degree in Business, Engineering, Medical or Technology field with 1-2 years of work experience

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• As a Quality Technician position with knowledge about QSR qualifications and validation of facility/utility and computer systems.
