At Autoport, our Prep team safely prepares railcars for loading and unloading of vehicles. This crew of experienced laborers work as a team to maintain production standards, without compromising their quality of work. We are looking for dedicated full-time employees who are comfortable working in an outdoor environment year-round. Located in Flint, MI, you will enjoy working alongside passionate individuals in a motivating work environment.

Hourly rate: $17.72 - $20.85

Our Prep team has one of the most physically demanding jobs within the facility; they are the first to prepare each railcar for the loading and unloading of vehicles. This diverse team works together to productively meet deadlines and solve problems, while adhering to workplace guidelines and safety protocol. This role will also require climbing up and down railcar ladders, opening and closing railcar doors, placing and removing chocks that secure vehicles for shipment, and the ability to lift up to 50 lb. bridge plates repeatedly throughout your shift. This is an entry-level position, but there is no need to stop there. Within Autoport there is ample opportunity for growth, with tenured employees of 10 years plus.
