Full Job Description

SolNova Energy is looking for Solar Installers to join our team. Applicants do need to have previous experience in residential solar installations.

Candidates will Install photovoltaic (PV) systems in accordance with local code and safety standards using drawings, schematics, and assemble solar modules, panels, or support structures, as specified.

Requirements:

• Layout and assembly of solar modules / array and mounting hardware
• Mechanical/structural/Install mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipment
• Prepare and clean-up job site
• Knowledge of SolarEdge and Enphase systems is a plus
• Install Seal and flash the solar mounts to ensure penetrations
• Experience installing SolarEdge optimizers and Enphase Micro Inverters is a plus.
• Must be familiar with all roofing systems, composition Shingle, flat, and Tile roofs.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years of experience.
• Must be able to carry, push and pull up to 50 + Lbs.
• Must be able to climb ladders, stairs, and work from heights
• Must be able to work on foot for extended periods of time
• Regular attendance is required
• Must be a team player.
• Listens and takes direction from Crew Foreman.
• Attention to detail is a must and Takes pride in their work and finished product.
• Ability to safely handle tools and materials such as: ladders, inverters, solar panels, panel boards, batteries, and other similar electrical equipment, lumber, roofing materials, etc.
• Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, crawl spaces, attics, etc.)
• Must have excellent customer service skills

Pay: $30.00 hr

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
