J Brand Salon + skincare is seeking a friendly and reliable Salon Support Staff/Shampoo Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be the meet and greet, first smiling face to be seen at the salon. Responsible for providing support to our stylist and ensuring that our clients receive a pleasant and relaxing experience at our salon.

Position title : Salon Support Staff/ Shampoo Assistant

• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times
• Assist with shampooing, conditioning, and preparing clients for their appointments
• Keep the salon clean and organized, including sweeping and disinfecting surfaces
• Stock supplies and products as needed
• Commute must be within 10 miles of Roselle

Qualifications:

• High School diploma but college or cosmetology school preferred
• Experience working in a customer service environment or salon preferred, but not required
• Ability to multitask and work in a environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to learn and assist in all aspects of the salon
