As the Senior Procurement Manager – Global Warehousing, you will have overall responsibility to develop procurement standardization and best practice sharing within the warehousing category across the globe. The role serves to support regional procurement teams develop and execute their category strategies as well as directly manage North America’s warehouse equipment procurement and yard jockey services. There is a great opportunity for the chosen candidate to shape and to optimize this role including how to best utilize Kimberly-Clark’s Global Business Services team to support procurement tasks. Candidates must demonstrate an optimization and self-starting mindset as well as the ability to effectively interface and influence a broad range of stakeholders in a globally matrixed organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with and coordinate regional procurement and operations teams globally
  • Develop and introduce best practice thinking in Warehousing
  • Develop data insights and visibility across the Warehousing spend base that will enable cost and service optimization, support improved business partnering within Kimberly-Clark and drive relationship management with suppliers
  • Manage sourcing and supplier management of warehouse equipment, infrastructure and yard jockey services in North America and consider how to optimize this for the future and leverage Kimberly-Clark’s scale globally
  • Develop and support the deployment of a standardized, global supplier management approach that leverages existing Regional supplier performance management
  • Support the implementation and adoption of a new spend taxonomy and sourcing approach as part of Kimberly-Clark’s Coupa deployment
  • Create global, standardized warehouse contractual terms to support internal benchmarking, best practice contracting and enablement of broader Logistics strategies led by Procurement’s business partners

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferably in a Business, Science, Mathematical or similar subject
  • 6+ years’ experience working in Supply Chain or Procurement


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Warehousing and Manual Handling Equipment experience
  • Strong innovative, analytical and facilitation skills
  • Sourcing and contract negotiation experience
  • Experience working in a global, matrix organization, working closely with Regional teams to leverage best practice demonstrating strong leadership skills
  • Excellent relationship management and leadership skills and the ability to engage both internal and external stakeholders
