Job Summary

In this role, you will be a key contributor in executing in vivo pharmacology studies in support of our preclinical pipeline within the Immunology and Preclinical Pharmacology group. These will include hands-on support of PK, PD, tumor efficacy as well as mechanistic studies also including support for ex vivo processing of samples in collaboration with other immunology team members.

Responsibilities and Duties

? Development and validation of rodent models of cancer

? Design and perform in vivo efficacy studies including monitoring of disease progression and drug treatments

? Perform necropsies, harvest tissues and blood by alternate methods

? Evaluate pharmacodynamics using molecular, cell and protein techniques (flow cytometry, Western Blotting, ELISAs, MSD Immunohistochemistry and RT-PCR)

? Independently plan, execute, analyze and interpret data

? Present results in both written and in oral format

Preferred qualifications:

• B.S in immunology, molecular cell biology or pharmacology, with greater than three years of relevant industry or academic experience
• Proficiency with all minor and major surgeries in rodents
• Hands-on experience with imaging techniques a plus
• Ability to work with team of immunologists to support ex vivo biomarker studies including flow cytometry, multiplex assays and standard immunoassays

Minimal requirements:

• Bachelor's in Biology, with at least 3 years of relevant industry or academic experience
• Hands-on experience in building and handling of murine disease models of cancer (syngeneic, xenograft)
• Proficiency with administration in rodents via IV, IP, SC, IM and PO routes
• Proficiency in collection of blood and murine tissues and necropsy
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast- paced and highly matrixed environment
