Hanna Instruments, a world wide leader and manufacturer of scientific instrumentation is seeking a full- time Senior System Test Engineer to join our Research and Development Team in Woonsocket, RI. The System Test Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing test plans and strategies for a wide range of instrumentation and products. The Senior System Test Engineer will also be responsible for executing the tests and communicating with a global team.

Job Responsibilities for a Sr System Test Engineer:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and develop use case scenarios for testing the features.
• Design and develop comprehensive test plans and be able to execute.
• Actively participate and provide technical inputs during the product development cycle.
• Able to solve problems, learn quickly, iterate, and persevere towards robust solutions.
• Collaborative and comfortable working across teams, including both locally and globally.
• Responsible and like to take ownership of challenging problems.
• A good communicator and facilitate teamwork via good documentation practices.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and thrive in designing algorithms for evolving needs.
• Someone who continually seeks personal and professional improvement and growth

Knowledge & Skills required for Senior System Test Engineer:

• 10 - 15 years of system testing experience, particularly in Instrumentation
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with Agile development a plus.
• Experience with test plan management software a plus.
• Experience with JIRA a plus but not required.
• Experience in automated test a plus but not required.
