JOB REQUIREMENTS
Requires a valid Texas Driver’s License, appropriate driving record and auto liability insurance that meets the minimum required by State of Texas statute
Requires clinic management and supervisory experience and knowledge of clinical concepts, practices and procedures.
Ability to Review EOB’s and determine resolution.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree preffered.
1-2 years’ experience as a lead and/or supervisor in a healthcare setting
Previous electronic billing and/or previous follow helpful.
Physician office billing and insurance preferred.
Two year minimum in a human service or clinical service field.
Ability to travel.
Mental and physical health sufficient to meet the demands of the position.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Overall management of clinical services and general oversight of the facilities at the Clinic in Tyler. Primarily responsible for compliance issues for programmatic requirements while maintaining quality services. Oversees staff, works in coordination with staff to ensure a team approach in clinical services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Oversees daily clinical operations, assuring minimum standards are met.
2. Introduces approved clinical standards and protocols to staff and trains staff on following proper procedures.
3. Directly supervises Tyler clinical staff, working with physician and staff to ensure medical needs of clients are met.
4. Aids in the hiring process and makes recommendations for discipline and termination.
Acts as liaison for the region with the Management team, and Board of Directors, assuring compliance with funding sources.
Holds weekly staff meetings to assure coordination of services

The position will be responsible for aiding in the development of Clinical program budgets and monitoring purchase requests. Position is responsible for assisting in subcontractor selection and monitoring.
Serves on the Quality Improvement Committee, including conducting clinical chart audits.
Assists Clinical Director in oversight of day to day clinical operations to ensure staff compliance to Standards of Care outcome measurements and funding source requirements. Includes oversight of daily clinic operations for assigning delivered services to appropriate billing.
11. Prepare programmatic reports as dictated by the funding sources
12. Holds weekly staff meetings to assure coordination of services.
13. Maintains services referral network and communicates as needed.
14. Communicates readily with supervisor and/or management team on urgent programmatic, agency interpersonal, and significant client information.
15. Serves on the Quality Improvement Committee, including conducting clinical chart audits.
1. Prepares monthly and quarterly reports in a timely manner as required by grants and as requested by supervisor.
2. Prepares time reports and mileage accurately and on time.
3. Serves as an advocate for the clients, avoids derogatory and/or inappropriate remarks regarding clients.
4. Provides Orientation to new clinical staff and provides on-going training to staff as needed.
Work with Director of Grants Management and Division Director on programmatic and financial compliance.
Develop and maintain regional resources for better client care, agency public relations, and Clinical care strategies.
7. Must be familiar with Grant Performance Measures, objectives and grant requirements, playing a key role in monitoring and maintaining compliance with funding sources.
8. Initiates purchasing and monitors inventory for the clinics.
9. Attends required trainings.
10. Must be familiar with all complaint procedures.
11. Conducts self in a manner consistent with professional standards.
12. Adheres to all agency personnel and program policies, the agency mission statement, and the code of ethics.
Provides medication adherence education and appropriate interventions to each client as needed.
