Software Engineer Job at RYSE Aero Technologies, LLC
POSITION SUMMARY:
As an engineer in the software department of Ryse Aero Technologies, you will be an integral member of a team working on the design of various types of EVTOLs. You will be involved in all aspects of the flight software development from requirements gathering, system design, implementation, testing and verification, and ongoing maintenance. You will work as a contributing member of a multidisciplinary team that designs, builds and tests vehicles all in house. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Embedded system development of both application logic and hardware layers
- Development of unit test cases for all vehicle logic
- Test bench validation of all hardware drivers and logic
- Integration of software into new vehicle platforms
- Development of in-house software tools
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment while effectively collaborating with team members
QUALIFICATIONS:
- University degree in computer science, software engineering, or other related field
- Experience with aerospace, automotive, manufacturing, or other embedded systems
- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work with a talented multi-disciplinary team
- Strong understanding of C programming
OPTIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with version control software
- Experience with communication protocols including CAN-Bus

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
