The Staff Accountant is responsible for a variety of monthly recurring duties including preparing account reconciliations and journal entries, preparation of various monthly financial reports, month end close responsibilities and various accounting projects. The Staff Accountant is also responsible for team collaboration on process improvement initiatives and financial reporting enhancements.

In this role, you will be able to:

  • Execute month-end close activities including the preparation and posting of journal entries, including SAP and OneStream reporting and processes in accordance with established control procedures.

  • Assist with internal and external audit requests.

  • Analyze general ledger accounts to ensure items are reflective of the business transactions, and recorded to the appropriate account, making any necessary adjustments.

  • Prepare monthly reconciliations of assigned balance sheet accounts and ensure that general ledger accounts are reconciled with resolution to reconciling items. (Prepaids, Manual AR/AP, Intercompany, Accruals, GR/IR)

  • Cross training to support other staff accounting roles including but not limited to fixed asset and lease accounting.

  • Participation in various SEC reporting requirements including 10-K, 10-Q and earnings release.

  • Assist with special projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • One to three years of accounting experience.

  • BA or BS in Accounting.

  • Proficient at Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.

  • Experience with SAP is highly desirable.
