Amerifab Inc. - A leader in the design, engineering, and manufacture of custom equipment for the steel industry, is seeking to hire an individual with Supply Chain and Logistics experience in heavy equipment manufacturing. This position will be a mid-level leadership role.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Provide overall leadership in the company’s tool room.Maintain adequate and organized inventory of tools and small parts in the tool room to include purchasing of parts and consumables. Schedule logistics functions and ensure shipments leave on time.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Communicate with trucking companies and schedule transportation for goods leaving the plant.

· Oversee the internal job picking process.

· Communicate with vendors to procure parts, including specialty items.

· Oversee all receiving and stocking functions in the tool room.

· Monitor location for proper stocking levels and replenish as needed.

· Reconcile vendor pack slips with POs in the system.

· Be a liaison to onsite venders.

· Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must possess high school diploma, Accredited college degree is preferred, but will consider length of experience.
• Must have verifiable experience related Supply Chain, Logistics, or Tool Room Management.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience operating a fork truck is a plus, but not required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Bilingual-Spanish is desirable.

• Monday thru Thursday -10-hour shift.
• Friday - Saturday OT as needed.

Supplemental pay types:

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
