Responsibilities:
This position presents an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a nonprofit organization in implementing a one-time grant program aimed at enhancing childcare and early learning facilities to promote equal access throughout Arizona. As the Tax Analyst, you will report to the Grant Managers and be responsible for:

• Reviewing three years' worth of tax returns for grantees and conducting basic financial and ratio analysis.
• Examining invoices and contracts submitted by grantees to facilitate disbursement requests.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of administrative experience.
• Experience in reviewing or preparing tax returns, including corporate, partnership, and sole proprietor tax forms.
• A background in accounting, finance, or economics is a plus.
• A commitment to precision and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to endorse and foster an environment of individual and collective trust and accountability, both internally and externally.
• Excellent computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel.
• The candidate must also have the capacity to learn and navigate new software required for all employees and program initiatives.

Compensation:
This opportunity offers a starting pay rate of $35-$40 per hour, paid on a weekly basis plus flexible work schedule. Benefits include supplemental medical, dental and vision coverage during the assignment period!
