Summary of Role
The Technology Support Specialist - Partner will provide phone and email support to help older adults get started with new technology and onto the GetSetUp site. This role is a temporary, fully remote, part time (up to 29 hours per week), with a projected 3-4 month engagement timeline. It is expected that candidates are available for one of two shifts either between the hours of 12pm and 6pm PST or 9am and 3pm PST, weekdays.
Working across time zones and cultures, we rely on multiple tools to stay in close touch (Slack, Zoom, phone) and for this role we are open to candidates anywhere in the US.
Responsibilities
Communicate via email and telephone with older adults to help them feel empowered through the use of technology
Patiently onboard older adults onto new technology (such as iPads and Chromebooks) with key information and step by step processes
Provide keen attention to detail to ensure Technology Onboarding Projects are a success through following documentation, voicing process improvements and day-to-day email follow up with customers
Work with a team of motivated Support Specialists to monitor and tackle a ticketing queue of technology onboarding questions that come in through via email, chat, messaging and phone support

You are patient, adaptable and excel at switching between different tasks during the work day and prioritizing the right projects.
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
You have amazing attention to detail
You enjoy working with different personalities throughout your day
You have Google Workspace, Windows and Apple product experience
You have Zendesk or similar CRM ticketing experience
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the compensation range for this position is $14-18 an hour. If you are hired at GetSetUp, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience.
