Toddler Teacher Job at Best Beginnings Early Learning School
Best Beginnings of Collegedale s is currently accepting applications for a toddler teacher. This individual will plan and teach age appropriate activities for children and take care of their everyday needs for the children in their care.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct children in age appropriate activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
- Create a fun and safe learning environment
- Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, diapering/toileting, meal times, and playtime
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
- Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress via daily sheets and weekly emails
- Maintain the health and safety of all students (must be able to see and hear the children at all times)
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields preferred
- AA/BA/CDA/TECTA in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Passionate about working with children
- Ability to build rapport with children
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Availability and dependability is a must!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.50 - $15.50 per hour
