Cutting Edge Pet Clinic is a new veterinary clinic opening this fall in the Fair Oaks Ranch area, located between San Antonio and Boerne off of IH-10. We are hiring for all positions immediately (Receptionist, Veterinary Technicians/Assistants).

REQUIREMENTS:

-Previous experience preferred

-LVT license preferred for technicians

***************VETERINARY TECHNICIAN DUTIES***************

-Assist the veterinarian(s) with patient care and treatment

-Room patients, prep and clean exam rooms

-Monitor hospitalized pets

-Maintain inventory, prepare prescriptions, perform routine and in-house lab work

-Educate clients regarding veterinary care and procedures

-Assist with surgical procedures

-Sterilize surgical instruments

***Must be reliable, friendly, professional, a team player, able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste, and contagious diseases.

***************RECEPTIONIST DUTIES: ***************

-Answering phones/scheduling appointments

-Assisting clients with registration

-Greeting visitors

-Collecting balances/Process payments

-Appointment reminders

-Scanning and uploading paperwork into patient's electronic health record

-Working with referring clinics to get patients scheduled in a timely manner

-Surgery scheduling when needed

-Managing patient flow

-Must be able to differentiate between routine and emergency cases

-Admits and check out patients

-Manages financial information

-Communicate information between clients and staff

***Must be reliable, friendly, professional, efficient and able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste, and contagious diseases.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $22.00 per year
