We are looking for an experienced superstar Medical Assistant who is ready for a career and can help take the practice to the next level! Dermatology experience (know basic dermatology terms) and EMA experience preferred. We are open to accepting aspiring medical or PA-C students. Serious inquires only.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating a welcoming and courteous atmosphere throughout the patient encounter.
• Greeting patient and documenting intake information into electronic medical record.
• Remaining with physician throughout the encounter to scribe into electronic medical record and assist with procedures (biopsies, surgeries, laser, injectables and other cosmetic procedures), then turn-over room and log specimens for pick-up.
• Keep exam rooms stocked and prepared for the day’s activities.
• Triage clinical phone calls from patient and pharmacies.
• Call patients to discuss biopsy results.
• Ability to calmly multi-task, as on occasion there are multiple rooms in motion.
• Keep exam rooms stocked and prepared for the day’s activities.
• Educate patients on cosmetic procedures and recommend appropriate products for their skin type.
• Advocate for the providers and practice.
• Impliment policies and procedures to ensure patients have an outstanding experience.

Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
