Day in the Life

Northwest Cascade has an immediate need for a Mainline Operator to join its team. The primary responsibility of the equipment operator will be to safely operate equipment in support of our mainline activities. The operator will also have the opportunity to:

• Operate machine(s) daily in a safe and efficient manner
• Support crew and set pace for the installation of water, sewer, and storm pipe
• Ensure safe and proper excavating to depth and grade with proper safety sloping and shoring
• Meet production and scheduling demands
• Communicate with Foreman and other crew members
• Operate safely in close quarters and around all types of utilities
• Inspect and maintain equipment—report defects immediately
• Ensure that crews comply with site rules and regulations
• Know and maintain safety standards as established and required by the State of Washington and company policy

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will be an experience Operator Mainline Crew with the following qualifications:

• Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings and plans
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mainline operating
• Job offers made by Northwest Cascade Inc. will be contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, and background check, as applicable.
