Applicants must possess the required education and experience to qualify for and have obtained their Director Credential and should have 1-2 years of experience as a Director in a Preschool setting.
**Applicants must possess their Director Credential. Applicants must submit a current DCF transcript with their resume.**
§ Oversee the day-to-day operations of the center while demonstrating exceptional leadership skills, professional conduct, and communication skills.
§ Maintain a professional personal appearance, attitude, and work behavior at all times.
§ Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to ensure proper teacher : student ratios are maintained.
§ Arrange and conduct staff meetings and on-going training, as necessary.
§ Ensure that MPCP policies and procedures are implemented and maintained by all preschool staff members.
§ Maintain FACCS/DCF compliance according to their respective regulations.
§ Manage employee and student files.
§ Ensure regulatory training and CEUs are performed timely by all preschool staff members.
§ Maintain a professional relationship with parents, staff, and church personnel.
§ Participate in weekly administrative meetings by being prepared to discuss all aspects of the preschool.
§ Work with MPCS Administrator to secure current curriculum.
§ Ensure the curriculum is implemented throughout the preschool by all teachers.
§ Develop and maintain a constructive and ongoing rapport with children and parents.
§ Ensure all teachers document and follow daily classroom activities.
§ Coordinate with the teachers to create experiences that are fun, educational, and age-appropriate for the children.
§ Ensure all teachers view each child in light of developmentally appropriate practices in early childcare and take into consideration each child’s uniqueness, strengths, and areas for growth.
§ Maintain a clean, friendly, welcoming environment to ensure the health and safety of the staff and the children.
§ Coordinate multiple activities simultaneously and quickly analyze and resolve specific problems.
§ Be capable of learning and mastering new technology quickly and thoroughly.
§ Possess very strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
