Job Overview:
The Program Director for River Hills Home Health is responsible for overseeing the delivery of home care services to individuals. The program director is responsible for ensuring that the home care services are of the highest quality and are consistent with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The program director is responsible for managing the daily operations of the home care program, including supervising staff, managing budgets, and developing policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the home care program that are consistent with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the daily operations of the home care program, including staffing, scheduling, and service delivery.
- Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate home care staff, including registered nurses, home health aides, and other support staff.
- Develop and manage the home care program budget, including forecasting and monitoring expenses, and ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints.
- Oversee the development and implementation of individualized care plans for individuals receiving home care services.
- Ensure that home care services are delivered in accordance with established quality standards, and that outcomes are tracked and reported to management.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as physicians, hospitals, and rehab facilities, to ensure that individuals receive appropriate and coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of home care program operations, including staff and individual records, budgets, and other financial and administrative records.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and initiatives to ensure that home care services are delivered in a safe and effective manner.
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in nursing, social work, or related field required; master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in home care management or related field.
- Strong knowledge of home care regulations and standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in the use of computer systems and software programs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $56,000.00 - $84,000.00 per year
