Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking a candidate to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The position will be part of a growing, inclusive team at our Rancho Carmel location. The ideal candidate performs a combination of manual and clerical duties to receive, store, and issue equipment, materials, and supplies in a central warehouse. Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications and invoices; stores articles according to identifying factors; fills orders or issues supplies from stock; requisitions stock to fill incoming orders; and prepares stock use reports. Determines methods or places for storage considering guidelines for temperature, humidity, weight or height limits, turnover, floor loading capacity, and required space. Exclude shipping and/or receiving clerks.

Work schedule: 3:30pm - 1:00 am on a 9/80 schedule.

Job Duties:

• Stores material stocking

• Inventory administration

• Parts and material pick-up and delivery

• Job plan material kitting/staging.

Basic Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Valid State Driver’s License

• 1-year experience working in a warehouse

• Excellent written and Verbal Communication skills.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, must be able to positively interact with workers, contractors, management, and customers.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experienced or certified forklift operator.

• Experience in material tracking software.

• Construction, repair, maintenance craft experience.

Salary Range: $38,700 USD - $64,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
